What does a funeral director do?

As a funeral director, you will be responsible for guiding families through the funeral planning process, coordinating with vendors and suppliers, and ensuring that all services are carried out with the utmost care and respect.


The ideal candidate for this position will have strong organizational skills. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep sense of compassion and empathy for the families you will be serving.
