HEADSTONES

Headstones

We provide unique custom headstones that help families express their love, preserve their family heritage, and honor a life lived. The use of a headstone allows a family to work through their grieving process and at the same time memorialize their loved one.

Flat Grave Markers

Flat granite markers lay flush with the ground. They are generally 24" x 12", but can be larger depending upon individual cemetery or memorial park size requirements.

Bevel Marker

Bevel markers are similar to flat markers with the main difference being that the back of a bevel marker is slightly taller than the front. Typically, this is a 2" drop from back to front. Bevel markers sit above ground and are 6" to 8" in height. The bevel allows water and dirt to flow off of the marker.

Slant Headstone

Companion Slant

Slant headstones are those where the front surface of the headstone has a dramatic slant on the engraved face of the headstone creating a large area for personalization. Slant headstones are cut perpendicular 2" from the bottom, creating the appearance of the base attached to the slant headstone. These slant headstones are like wedges on the ground and are usually 16" high. The back is vertical and the polished face is cut back at an angle from the built in base. This back can be engraved with the family name or words of endearment, something that adds a meaningful remembrance to the stone. The top can be flat, oval, or a serpentine shape. Different styles of pictures can be attached to the slant stone as well.

Companion Monument Back

Monument headstones are made of two pieces: the tablet or upright piece, also called a die and the base. The tablet forms the upper part of the headstone while the base forms the lower. The top portion is attached to the bottom base giving an overall height, greater than most other headstones in the cemetery. This allows your monument to stand out and be easily seen. Monument markers can be created with rough sides and top or with any number of the sides polished depending on your preference. Polished surfaces are easier to maintain and clean and can also differentiate the monument.

Heart Shaped Headstone

Heart shaped headstones come in different granite colors and can be customized with many different design options. The normal size of such a headstone is 24" x 6" x 24" for a single monument or 48" x 6" x 24" for a companion monument.

Bronze Memorial

Bronze memorials are mounted to either a granite or cement base which serves as a foundation.

Granite Bench

Memorial benches have become an increasingly popular way to remember and pay tribute to loved ones. A memorial bench can be personalized to your wishes.
