Vercinda Quintina Ethelbah

March 25, 1984 — August 10, 2023

Vercinda Quintina Ethelbah, 39 years old, passed away on August 10th, 2023 at Banner Thunderbird in Glendale, Arizona. She was born on March 25, 1984 in Phoenix, Arizona to the late Myron Ethelbah Sr. and Debbie Lee Ethelbah.

Vercinda grew up in Whiteriver, Arizona. She was a woman full of love. She was quick to recognize you, and then greet you with a smile and embrace. Her humble character and compassionate spirit made her an approachable person. She was full of laughter no matter what was going on.

She was talented in drawing and basket making, babysitting all her nieces and nephews, and most of all, loving her children.

She supported herself by basket making side jobs that were available to her in the local area, and janitorial jobs at The Gym in Pinetop. She has numerous friends and acquaintances from the many side jobs and volunteer works that she has done throughout the years.

Vercinda was preceded in death by her father, Myron Ethelbah Sr.  She is survived by:  Daughters, Verryanna Ethelbah & Nicolette J’Shon Havier;  Sons, Deron Cato Ethelbah & Deven Ethelbah; Mother- Debbie Ethelbah; Sisters, Monique Ruiz, Vernique Walker, Verlita (Nicholas) Leonard; Brothers, Myron Ethelbah Jr., Mylyle Ethelbah, Mykyle Ethelbah, Myryan (Aliyah) Ethelbah, Erryl Zagotah; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

A wake will be held at 1728 S Palomino Ave., Chinatown, starting at 10:00am on August 18, 2023. Funeral services will be held at Riverside Church on August 19, 2023 at 1:00pm. Burial will be immediately following at the Pinion Tree Cemetery.

The family would like to thank you for all the prayers, monetary donations, labor of love, food, supplies, donations and being by our side through all moments. Additionally, a special thank you to all family and friends, Riverside Church, Office of WMAT Chairman and Vice- Chairman, Game and Fish, WMAT Maintenance, and WMATCO.
