Warren Richard Wieboldt

Warren Wieboldt passed away January 31, 2026 under the graceful care of hospice in Eager Arizona. He was born in New York City to Raymond and Margaret Wieboldt.

Warren obtained an electrical engineering degree in 1969 from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He went to work for General Electric on the NASA Apollo projects following graduation. He continued to work in the rapidly advancing world of computer technology as an electrical engineer until he fell in love with the great outdoors, especially the mountains of Colorado. He was an avid carefree hiker and loved camping. He and his VW van made Colorado home in 1983 where he lived for 34 years before moving to Arizona.

He is predeceased by two brothers and his parents. He is survived by his sister, Wendy, and many lifelong friends.
