Victor S. Taylor, retired Master Sergeant, United States Air Force, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025, in Pinetop, Arizona. He was a proud veteran, devoted family man, and respected member of his community.
Born to Lorne and Priscilla (Griffin) Taylor, Victor dedicated much of his life to service-first to his country and later to his fellow veterans. Following his retirement from the U.S. Air Force, Victor continued his professional life at Micro Chip, where he applied his skills and discipline with the same commitment he showed in uniform.
Victor was deeply involved in veterans' affairs and organizations. He was a Life Member and Past Commander of the American Legion Post 39 in Gilbert, AZ, as well as a proud member of the Forty and Eight. Additionally, he was a Life Member of VFW Post 1760 in Mesa, AZ, where he found camaraderie and purpose in continuing to support fellow veterans.
Victor is survived by his beloved wife, Rose Taylor of Pinetop, AZ; his four children; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and seven brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service with full military honors will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 2:30 PM at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. Family, friends, and fellow service members are invited to attend and honor a life defined by service, strength, and love.
Victor's legacy will endure in the lives he touched and the values he upheld. He will be deeply missed.
