Veldalene "Velda" White Hancock was born on June 14, 1932, in Floy, AZ, and passed away peacefully in her home in Snowflake, Arizona on April 25, 2025, at the age of 92. She was born to Charles Henry White and Mollie Carrie Key, and was the second of two children, along with three cousins who would join their family.
Her favorite past-times through the years were her horse, growing a garden, camping, spending time on the ranches, and spending time with friends and family. She loved to learn new things and loved to teach others. She loved the church and served in many callings through the years.
In 1949 she married Robert "Bob" Hancock, and they spent their life together in Taylor, Arizona. Their posterity includes 5 children and spouses, 47 grandchildren, 92 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
A public viewing will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M., Friday, May 2, 2025, at Owens Livingston Mortuary - Heritage Chapel in Snowflake. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 3, 2025 at the Centennial Blvd Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 880 N. Centennial Blvd., in Taylor, with viewing beginning at 10:00.
Interment will be in the Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery.
