It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Terry Dwayne Baisden, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Terry peacefully departed from this world on August 9, 2024, at his home in Lakeside, AZ, surrounded by his devoted family.
Born on May 29, 1956, in Madison, WV, Terry was the son of Loren and Eleanor Baisden. Relocating to Arizona with his family in 1963, he spent his formative years in Cottonwood, AZ, before graduating from Mingus Union High School in 1975. Terry went on to build a successful career as a Structure Builder in the railroad industry, dedicating many years to AT-SF Railroad before retiring from BNSF in 2016.
A man of many passions, Terry found joy in the great outdoors, literature, model building, and music, with a particular fondness for Star Wars and Westerns. He cherished his time spent with family, friends, and his railroad comrades.
Terry is survived by his loving wife, Ann Baisden, and a treasured family circle; his daughters Kerri Atkinson (Jon), Stephanie Reese (Jeremy), Kylea Gomez (Frankie), and Jessica Baisden (Cinnamon); his 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and brothers William, Michael, and Robert Baisden, and his bonus brothers Jack Dudley and Eddie Lyons. Terry was preceded in death by his father Loren Baisden, and his mother Eleanor Carver Basiden.
May his memory live on in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing him. Terry will forever be remembered for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for his family.
