Susan Ann Moffett (Montgomery)

January 22, 1941 - October 12, 2026

Susan Ann Moffett, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on January 22, 1941, in Cottonwood, Arizona, Susan was the youngest of six children born to Reva and Harry S. Montgomery Jr. She spent her childhood in Arizona, Missouri, and Texas, creating cherished memories with her siblings and developing the caring spirit that would define her life.

Susan graduated from high school in Norton, Texas. During her first marriage to Mannie Turner, she welcomed two sons, Danny and Mitchell. Later, she moved to Tucson, Arizona, to get the help she needed for Danny, a reflection of the compassion and devotion that guided her throughout her life.

While living in Tucson, Susan met the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Moffett. They were married on March 25, 1965, and together built a life centered on faith, family, and love. Their family grew with the birth of their daughter, Stacey, completing their family of five.

Susan and Bob lived in Tucson and Globe before settling permanently in Tucson, where they raised their children. While balancing family responsibilities, Susan pursued her educational goals, earning a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Arizona and later a Master's Degree from Northern Arizona University. Her determination and commitment to lifelong learning were an inspiration to all who knew her.

Susan enjoyed traveling with Bob and treasured the adventures they shared, including memorable trips to Hawaii and Africa. More than anything, she valued time spent with family and friends. Her warm smile, gentle spirit, and genuine kindness made everyone feel welcomed and loved.

Susan will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her generous heart, and her ability to make each person she encounters feel special. She touched countless lives through her compassion, grace, and quiet strength.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Reva and Harry S. Montgomery Jr.; her son, Danny Turner; her sister, Rosella "Rosie"; and her siblings Irwin, Mary Jane, and Harold.

Susan is survived by her devoted husband, Robert "Bob" Moffett; her son, Mitchell Moffett; her daughter, Stacey Stanislawski; her brother, Harry Montgomery and his wife Susan; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Tyler; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will cherish her memory.

A memorial service celebrating Susan's life will be held on October 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Shepherd of the Pines United Methodist Church in Overgaard, Arizona at 3015 Arizona Hwy 277, Overgaard, AZ 85933.

Susan's legacy of love, perseverance, kindness, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
