Steven Scott Selby

May 17, 1947 — June 2, 2022

S. Scott Selby entered the Lord's Kingdom, after a six month illness, on June 2, 2022. He was 75 years old.  He was born in Monte Vista, Colorado and went to grade school and high school in Phoenix, Arizona.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Wallace Richard and Lois Julia Selby, and his brother Kristin Selby.

He is survived by his wife, of 47 years, Elaine Selby; his sons, Ron Selby and Scott Selby; 4 wonderful grandchildren and 4 delightful great grandchildren.

Scott lived in the White Mountains for 41 years after visiting here with his parents often in his boyhood. He was known to many as THE GUNSMITH. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who was loved and respected by all who knew him. Scott was an avid Harley Davidson motorcyclist, shooter, hunter, fisherman and student of history and current events. He was willing to share his views with those who were interested.

He loved the Lord Jesus Christ and knew him as his personal Savior.

There will be a funeral service held at Owens Livingston Mortuary, 320 N. 9th St., in Show Low on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 1:30 P.M, followed by interment at the Show Low Cemetery.
