With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Steve Carey, 72, on February 19, 2025, in Lakeside, Arizona. Born March 4, 1953, in New Hampshire to Donald and Hazel (Woodard) Carey.
He was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Vesey.
He is survived by his brother, Don, of Tucson.
Steve spent decades in the woods, living simply and cherishing nature. His camping friends became family, including the Jaramillo family, who will keep his ashes.
Rest in peace, Stevo - You are home now.
