Ruth Merlene Smith

Ruthie Smith was born April 12th 1951 in Aliquippa PA and went to heaven April 26th 2026.

She went onto to finish some high school and meet the love of her life. At 17 she was married to Larry Smith and they had Laura Lee Smith. They moved to the White Mountains where they have spent their life. She was an avid Christian with a beautiful spirit that touched so many lives through her time as a waitress at Darbis and owning Bear Wallow Antiques.

We are at peace knowing that Ruthie is now in a place she worked so hard to get to. We will miss her spunky spirit and abundance of knowledge ranging from God to her favorite antiques.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Smith; sister, Maryanne; granddaughter, Michelle; nieces Roxanne and Judy.

She will be so missed and loved from a far everyday. This is such a shame because Ruthie was known for her healthy habits.

Arrangements for celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
