Roslyn Michelle Henson, “Michelle”, 59, passed away unexpectedly in Winslow, Arizona January 3rd, 2023.
Michelle is survived by her mother, Carol Policy of Holbrook; children, Roslyn Cherie Garcia of Holbrook, John Guin III of Evansville, Indiana, Jessi Harvey of Holbrook; siblings, Michael Rogers and Tim Rogers of Tahlequah Oklahoma, Marie Hayes of Holbrook Arizona; and 13 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Todd Rogers, and her father, David Rogers, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
Michelle was born on January 28th, 1963, in Winslow, Arizona to Carol and David Rogers. She proudly earned her diploma from Holbrook High School in 1981. She married David Nicholson in Holbrook, AZ in 1982. In 1978 they had welcomed their daughter, Roslyn Cherie Nicholson.
Later in life, she married John Guin II, and they welcomed their children John Guin III in 1986, and Jessica Harvey in 1989. In 1997, Michelle married Tom Henson of Holbrook, Arizona.
She most recently worked at Dollar General in Holbrook and gave cab rides through her personal business “Roadrunner Rides”. She was a generous and caring person to all and willing to give anything she had.
She had a great love for animals of all kinds. She spoiled her pets at home and even the wild animals that would visit her.
Michelle recently began a program with Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts to earn her Culinary Arts Degree. She enjoyed sharing her joy of cooking.
Michelle was deeply loved by her family and was known in Holbrook as a caring and devoted friend. Her children loved her deeply and consider themselves blessed to have had her as their mother.
Her family is very appreciative of all the support and condolences received from the community. Michelle will be laid to rest in Holbrook Cemetery.
