Rose Marie Williams

Rose Marie Williams passed on January 25, 2021 in Snowflake, AZ. Born in Louisiana, she lived in CA for most of her life. She was the 2^nd to the youngest of nine children born to Joseph and Caroline Chretien.

Rose Marie graduated from Holy Rosary Institute and achieved a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University and later from Sawyer Business College. Rose Marie married Verne Williams and is survived by her five daughter. She will be remembered for her continuous drive to help those in need through volunteering in her community, blood donation, and political involvement, including  her volunteering as a voting site supervisor, every year, for over 30 years. She was presented a federal recognition award for her service.

Rose Marie is survived by her older brother Gregory, younger sister Elizabeth, 5 daughters (Patricia, Kathleen, Paulette, Roberta, and Lawrencene; 15 grandchildren, 1 great-grand child, and niece Victoria

Rose Marie will be laid to rest in the same plot as her husband, so that her plot may be gifted to a service member, not otherwise granted a plot in Riverside National Cemetery.
