Robert May

Robert Howard May (Bob) 81, of Show, Low Arizona passed away peacefully and comfortably on Sunday, February 4th, 2024.

His family would like to thank his many friends and the kind and skilled staff at Compassus Hospice and Haven of Show Low for their tender and loving support during his last days.

Bob was born June 11, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He worked his entire life as a building contractor in Utah, Southern California and Arizona. One project that gave him great joy was building his beautiful log home in Show Low, Arizona. He and his wife Bobbi lived there for many years, where they enjoyed great neighbors and dear friends. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, football and barbecues.

Bob was one in a million; he lived a life full of adventure. He was loved and admired by so many and a celebration of his life will be held in the spring.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Pearl and Bill May; his sister, Kathleen May Oliver; and his daughter, Melody Lynn May (Mitchell).

Bob is survived by his wife Bobbi May; his brother, Richard May (Shirley) of New Braunfels, Texas; his son, Shaun May (Jeanne) of Mineola Texas; and his daughter, Colleen Cook (Roger) of Alpine Wyoming; as well as grandchildren: Robert and Jeremy May, Craig and Chris Cook, Miranda Goodman and Jesse Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Kaylee May, Skyler, Hylee, Boston and Axel Cook, Baylee, Hadley and Dax Goodman.
