Robert Neal Albert

May 11, 1961 — February 9, 2023

In loving memory of Robert Neal Albert of Whiteriver, Arizona. He was born on May 11, 1961, in Whiteriver, AZ, and passed away on February 9, 2023 in Gilbert, AZ. His parents are Raymus Albert, and the late Deloria Ethelbah Albert.

Robert attended Whiteriver Elementary School, Whiteriver Middle School, and Alchesay High School where he participated in football. He later attended school for auto mechanic training. His work experience included working with Apache Enterprise as a delivery driver for the stores around the Ft. Apache reservation. Then he began working in the parts department at Apache Enterprise before transferring to the tire shop. Eventually, his path led him to working as an auto mechanic at the Whiteriver Police Department.

Bob was a huge University of Arizona, and Dallas Cowboys fan. He would hardly watch the games because it would make him too amped up so he would usually record it and watch it later. Bob loved to go fishing. He would sit at the lake all day keeping his biggest catches. Oftentimes he would be sitting in the middle of different groups of fishers, and he would be the only one catching fish. He also enjoyed playing golf in his free time.

Bob enjoyed his music and he listened to many different genres. When he bought his Sirius radio, New Wave and Pitbull Radio were his favorite stations. His music was so loud he could be heard coming from a mile away when he was in his old Ford Bronco. Our neighbor Classy would say she knew when he was coming because her dishes would be rattling from the bass.

Robert’s survivors include his father Raymus Albert; brother Eddie Albert; sisters Dorcas Albert, Sylvia Parker, and Leticia Albert; Nieces that he raised as his own Torie Cody, Angie Cody, Leisha Albert-Tulene; Nephews Eli Kindelay, TyTy Holden, and Rocky Truax; Grandkids Joseph John, Rovonte Lupe, Oliver Kindelay, and Zeke Burnette.  He had many aunts, uncles, cousins, grandchildren, relatives, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother Deloria Albert, sister Clara Albert-Tulene, maternal grandparents, Harvey & Malcolm W. Ethelbah and paternal grandparents, Joseph C. & Clara C Albert.
