Richard William Tissaw

Richard "Dick" Tissaw, age 82, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2024, at home surrounded by his family.  Known for his determined, grumpy charm, he faced life and its challenges on his own terms - including his brief battle with cancer.

Dick is survived by his loving wife Janet of nearly 58 years, their children, Lynn, Brenda, Kendall and Farragh, ten grandchildren & seven great-grandchildren.

Throughout his life, Dick served his country and community in many capacities.  He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran, member of the Sheriff's Reserve, and dedicated Mason.  He enjoyed many hobbies, including riding motorcycles, connecting through Ham Radio and dancing with his beloved wife, Janet.

Services for Dick will be held at a later date in the spring of 2025.
