Richard "Dick" Merschdorf

Richard “Dick” Merschdorf of Florence, Arizona passed away on June 10, 2022 at his summer home in Show Low, Arizona. He was 82. Dick was born on April 14, 1940 in West Allis, Wisconsin to his parents the late, Peter and Anne (Pintrich) Merschdorf. Dick loved his country and faithfully served in the United States Air Force before being honorably discharged. He was a member of the American Legion Post #27 in Apache Junction and was co-founder of the American Legion Riders and the Operation Wounded Warriors of Arizona. He was also a member of the Coolidge-Florence Elks Lodge #2350. Dick loved his children and was a devoted and faithful husband. His hobbies included golfing, motorcycling and fishing in the local area lakes. Dick was loved by his many family members and friends and will be dearly missed. Survivors include his loving wife, Linda; 2 daughters, Kelorie and RoxsAnn; grandson, Michael; great-grandson, Nicolas and his constant companion TeeA, his beloved chihuahua mix.
