Richard Ray Blodgett known as Rick to his family, Rich to his friends, passed away on May 31, 2026, only 3 days past his 51st birthday.

From the day he was born, Richard marched to the beat of his own drum. He lived life on his own terms, with a spirit that was uniquely his and a path that was distinctly his own.

In 2022, Richard was preceded in death by his beloved 9-year-old son, Jakob, whom he loved dearly.

He is survived by his mother and father, Cheryl and Chris Doenges; his younger brother, Conrad (Kitty); his niece and nephew; and uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will remember him with love.

Rest easy son, you are reunited with Jakob.
