Randal Lane Martineau

Randal Lane Martineau passed away on January 31, 2023 after a battle with cancer.He was born on August 14, 1960 in Mesa, Arizona to Lorence and Lilly Martineau. The family was living in Mexico City, Mexico at the time but Lilly came up long enough to give birth. He was the 6th of 8 children, 7 boys and 1 girl. In 1967, he and his family moved back to Mesa, Arizona. He graduated from Mesa High School in 1978 and enlisted in the US Army as an Air Traffic Control Tower Operator for 4 years. After his time in the military, he moved to Mexico to help his father’s gold mining business for several years. He eventually moved back to Mesa, Arizona and became a welder. He enjoyed making beef jerky for family and friends and was very good at photography. He became very accomplished at making wooden bowls on his lathe and sold many of them at swap meets. He is survived by five brothers, Kim, Rod, Matt, Ladd and Nick Martineau. His passing will be felt by all his family and friends, and he will be dearly missed.
