Nancy Ann Szink (89) passed away on October 11, 2026 in Taylor Arizona. She was born November 21, 1936 in Phoenix Arizona to Edward and Mildred Whitfield. She married Stuart Szink on December 31, 1955. They had 3 children, Terrence, Jeannean and Shelby. The family moved to Holbrook Arizona in 1963 and she remained a resident ever since. Nancy graduated from NAU with a degree in education. She taught in Holbrook for 34 years.Teaching was her life. Whether in the classroom or answering the door for tick-or-treaters, she loved the children of this community. Nancy was on the board of directors for First Step Workshop from the very beginning. The First Step Workshop was very important to her. She was a member of the AZ Quilting Guild. Quilting was one of her passions. She loved playing Bunco with all of her friends. Nancy was also a member of Eastern Stars where she played the piano.

Nancy is preceded in death by her sibling and parents, her husband Stu and her son Terry. She is survived by her daughters Jeannean (Phil) Elson and Shelby Szink (Kent). Daughter-in-law Eva, grandchildren David (Tiffini), Ismail and Hunter (Dinora). Great grandchildren Tatum, Titan and Dafne.
