Martha Della Blosser

July 19, 1943 — June 7, 2022

Martha Della Blosser died unexpectedly during a routine doctor's visit on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, in Phoenix, Arizona. She was 78 years old. Martha was born on Monday, July 19, 1943, in Holbrook, Arizona to her parents, the late Loyd and Mary (Koury) Baker.

Martha was born into a wonderful family and throughout her life, she appreciated the close relationships she enjoyed with her parents and her brother and sisters. From them she learned the importance of keeping her family close to her heart. She loved every member of her childhood family and when she became a wife and mother, and grandmother that love was simply magnified. Martha was a good student in school. She was a majorette in her high school band and could twirl a baton like no other! Martha was a member of Holbrook High School's Class of 1961. A few short years later, she married her Forever Sweetheart, Ronnie Gilbert Blosser, Sr. in Holbrook, Arizona.

Martha was a woman who had great spiritual faith in God. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Holbrook, quite literally, throughout her entire life. Martha was a lady who was totally devoted to her family and they always were her priority. She was a devoted wife who adored her husband and loving mother to her children and, of course, when the grandchildren were born, she did everything she could to spoil them as only a grandma could! She enjoyed several hobbies that included crocheting. She could make just about anything: doilies, afghans, blankets and throws. She was an avid quilter and loved puttering around her yard, as she possessed the proverbial "Green Thumb." Martha also loved to make greeting cards for her family and friends; birthday cards, Christmas cards and "just because" cards were her favorite ones to make and she enjoyed blessing other people's lives with those special gifts. Martha was also a woman who enjoyed traveling. The world was her backyard and she wanted to see as much of it as she possibly could. She also was an active member of the Red Hat Society, which is a "Women's Club" where older ladies can get together and just enjoy being together as a group. She loved those "special sisters." Martha was dearly loved by her family and friends and she will be missed so very much.

Martha is survived by her 2 children: Rhonda (Donald) Blosser-Root of Helena, Montana, Ronnie G. (Beverlie) Blosser, Jr. of Holbrook, Arizona; 4 grandchildren: Kaylynn Root, Cody Root, Tahlisa (Ryan) Bray, Harlie Warner; 2 great-grandchildren: Lilly, Ashlyn and one great-granddaughter on the way. She is also survived by her sister, Patricia "Pat" Pogue of Joseph City, Arizona. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Baker and by her brother, John Baker.

The public visitation and viewing will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Owens Livingston Mortuary - Holbrook Chapel, 409 N. 1st Avenue in Holbrook, Arizona. The Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 212 E. Arizona in Holbrook, Arizona where the Recitation of The Holy Rosary will begin 30 minutes prior. The committal service and interment will immediately follow at the Holbrook Cemetery where she will be laid to rest along side her beloved husband.
