Marie Shirley Shortt

Marie Shirley Hill Shortt, 92, passed away July 6^th, 2022 in Show Low surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 25^th, 1929 in Saugerties, NY.

She was employed by the town of Woodstock for many years, along with being an Avon representative. She spent many hours volunteering at Mt. Marion Plattekill Reformed Church and High Woods Reformed Church. Marie (Peg) was very family oriented and a lover of gardening and cooking.

She is survived by two sons: Randy (Susan) Shortt of Vernon and Dale Shortt of Show Low; two grandchildren: Kellie Shortt of Vernon and Justin Shortt of Eagar; two great grandchildren: Kaden Jackson and Makena Jackson of Vernon.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband Harold Shortt, her parents and nine siblings.

A celebration of life was held at 3 p.m. July 8^th, 2022 at Owens Livingston Mortuary of Show Low. A graveside service at Blue Mountain Cemetery in Saugerties, NY will be held in the fall.
