Margaret Barden

Margaret Lucille Barden 77, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2024 in Snowflake, Arizona.

She was born August 3, 1946 in Joplin, Missouri to Giles Roy Bowers and his wife, Lucille Myers Bowers.

She married James Michael Barden on November 15, 1969 at St. Daniels Church in Scottsdale, Arizona. They lived most of their married life in Tempe, Arizona. Margaret worked at U-Haul in Phoenix, Arizona, where she retired after 20 years, at which time they moved to Pinetop, Arizona.

Margaret loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends.

Survivors include: husband, James; daughter, Tamara Suzanne Barden Huth and granddaughter, Olivia Rose Huth, of Olympia, Washington; sons, Christopher Michael Barden of Queen Creek, Arizona, Jason Anthony Barden of Tempe, Arizona; sister, Nancy Connolly of Peoria, Arizona; and brother, Gale Bowers of Phoenix, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.
