Lorraine Reidhead Taylor

February 7, 1966 — December 22, 2022

Lorraine Michelle Reidhead Taylor left this world for her Heavenly Home, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, December 22, 2022. She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on February 7, 1966. She is the fourth child and second daughter of Leland and Loris (DeWitt) Reidhead.

Her family moved often following work. However, they settled in Show Low, Arizona long enough for Lorraine to attend 1st-12th grade there. Lorraine fell in love with Terry Taylor and a few months after his mission they were married in the Mesa, Arizona Temple on February 16, 1985.
They lived in Snowflake, Show Low, Tempe, and back to Snowflake again before moving to Joseph City in December of 1991. They had four children before moving to Joseph City and had two more while there. They now have 4 sons and 2 daughters, 1 son-in-law, 3 daughters-in-law,
and 13 grandchildren who lovingly refer to her as “Meema”.

Lorraine is preceded in death by her father, Leland Reidhead, her brother, Leland Reidhead, her granddaughter Anabell Petersen,
and many extended family members.

She is survived by her husband Terry; her son, Christopher Scott and his wife, Destiny and their children Terra, Jaelyn, Addicyn, and Colt; her daughter, Micayle (Myke) and her husband Casey Petersen and their children Taylor and Alex; her son,
A.J. and his wife Lindsey and their children Terron, Emmett, Jannika, Eliana, Jacob, and they have a child on the way; her son Zachary, and his wife Emily and their daughter Lily; her daughter, Dallas Taylor; and her son, Riley Taylor.

Lorraine loved serving others and always put them before herself. Lorraine loved the Lord Jesus Christ and living his Gospel. She served in
many callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, including Primary President
Young Women's President, and was serving as Relief Society President when she became sick. She loved all those she served. But her favorite callings were Wife, Mother and Meema. She was loved and will be missed by many.

There will be a viewing at the Owens Livingston Mortuary in Holbrook, Arizona on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 5:00-8:00 pm. There will be a second viewing on Saturday, December 31, 2022, from 9:00-10:30am, followed by the funeral, to begin at 11:00am, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Joseph City, AZ.

Lorraine loved yellow. The family is asking everyone to wear something yellow to the funeral. There will also be
a memory box at the funeral. Please bring a written memory, or write one there prior to the start
of the funeral, so that we can compile the memories into something that can be passed on to her grandchildren.
