Laura Faye David Heppler 86 passed peacefully September 15th, 2026 surrounded by family in the White Mountains of Arizona.
Laura was born in Evansville, Indiana in 1940 to her parents Orville and Georgia David. She was their only child whom they adored. She graduated from Reitz High School and soon married Jim Heppler. They moved from Indiana to Colorado Springs, Co. while Jim was in the Air Force where their son Mark was born. They moved back to Evansville, Indiana and had their second son Mike. Work brought them to Arizona where they soon had their third and last child Mary.
Laura was a dedicated mom and a devoted housewife and very involved in her children's schooling becoming the PTA President of their SunnySlope Elementary school.They soon became active in Pop Warner football where they spent 15 years volunteering.
Laura became a Grandmother to David, James, Ryan, Cory, Camille, and Sara. She devoted her life to her grandchildren and eventually 11 Great Grandchildren with one on the way in November
Laura was a roll model for the kind of Mom every mother wanted to be. She was selfless, loving and adored by her children, grandchildren and great grandkids.
Laura is survived by her 3 children and daughter in law, Mark & Lisa Heppler, Mike Heppler and Mary Heppler Rachwitz.
