Kee Tsinnie, Sr.

March 10, 1929 — August 5, 2021

Kee Tsinnie Sr. entered eternal rest the morning of August 5, 2021.

He was born March 10,1929 at Ja’abani’ (Batsprings) near Dinnebito. His clans were Bigwater and born for Tangle people. He was a proud Korean War Veteran and told many stories of his experience serving his country from 11/07/52 to 09/10/54 and was Honorably Discharged with the rank of corporal.  He went on to become a proud member of the construction Union Local #383 up to his retirement. Kee also held other jobs as a Park Ranger in Blue Ridge, a custodian at Navajo County, and drove the bus for Meals on Wheels at the Holbrook Senior Center.

Kee Tsinnie is survived by his wife Mary of 65 years, 3 children Karen Albert (Lloyd), Irwin Tsinnie, Valerie Plower, and joining him heaven are his two sons Kee Jr., and Kevin. Kee has 9 grandchildren, Wallace Begay Jr. , KeAndra Begay, Keithan Begay, Nevin Tungovia, Delvin Tungovia, Jr., Ramona Hubbard, Valeen Plower, Jewel Plower and the late Michael Plower Jr. He has 4 great grandchildren Alina Joe, Lasaine Joe, Alaya Joe, and Ira Miles with one great great grandchild Ezekiel Mallow.

There will be a graveside service for Kee on August 11, 2021 at Holbrook Cemetery at 10:00 am. Pastor Randolph Hollingsworth of St Johns Baptist Church will conduct gravesite services and closing prayer will be done by Johnny Begody. Color Guard, Folding of Flag and Taps will be performed by the Houck Color Guard.
