Katrina Robin Acevedo Garvin

Katrina Robin Acevedo Garvin, age 41, passed away from this earth, October 7, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on July 30,1984 to Kim and Kathleen Acevedo in Show Low, Arizona. Katrina was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

On June 25, 2010 Katrina married the love of her life and best friend, Timothy Garvin. They have 2 children together Torin & Kiya Garvin.

Katrina and TC enjoyed spending time with their family and friends. They enjoyed taking trips to Roosevelt to disconnect from reality or back home to the mountain. She was an avid hunter and loved just about anything involving the outdoors. She would make everyone feel welcome in her home and treated everyone as if they were family.

Katrina was very involved in her children’s lives. They were the light of her life. She supported them throughout all their sporting activities and school functions. So much so that she was the volunteer coordinator for the Maricopa Little League. She could most often be found behind the home plate cheering until she lost her voice. She was beyond proud of them and their achievements.

Her outgoing and loving personality will forever be missed but never forgotten. Katrina’s husband and children will keep her memory alive through all things she loved. Katrina leaves behind her husband of 15 years, Timothy Garvin; children, Torin and Kiya Garvin; mother, Kathleen Acevedo; in-laws, Coman (Tyla) Garvin and Debbie (Mike) Bowsher; brothers, Jeffrey Henderson, Fred Deifenbaugh, Trinady (Gina) Garvin and Toby (Taylor) Garvin; nephews, Jake, Luke (Emily), Justin, Karsen, Tucker and Waylon; nieces, Jessica (Bradley), Jocelyn, Camille (Kaleb), Brylee and Dylan. She was preceded in death by her father Kim Acevedo; sister, Tomi Henderson; grandparents, Fred and Louis Hansen, and Lupe Acevedo.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 18, 2025 at theCHURCH in Pinetop-Lakeside.
