Joseph H. Stephenson

Joseph Herndon Stephenson of Show Low, Arizona passed away on August 17, 2023 in Show Low. He was 86. Joseph was born on May 6, 1937 in El Paso, Texas to his parents, the late Roy Lee and Helen Stephenson. 

Bubba was Joseph’s nickname known by family, friends, and strangers. He was a veteran of the United States Army before receiving his honorable discharge. Within the first two weeks of moving to Show Low, he was loved throughout the community.

Bubba was the most patient father and person I know. He taught us so much about love and truth and will live on in our actions and memories. We all love you, Bubba. Fly high until we meet again. 

He is survived by 4 children; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
