Jeffery Burton Fountain, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and esteemed veteran, passed away on November 8, 2024, in Snowflake, Arizona. Born on May 2, 1950, in Glendale, Arizona, Jeffery lived a life marked by dedication, love, and adventure.
As an Army Veteran who served bravely in Vietnam, Jeffery earned three Bronze Stars for his valor and commitment to his country. His military service instilled in him the values of courage and resilience, which he carried throughout his life.
Jeffery was a passionate individual who enjoyed a multitude of hobbies and interests. He found joy in hiking and hunting, often embracing the beauty of the Arizona landscape. However, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family, whom he cherished deeply.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Louada Fountain, and their three children, Brandon Jeffery Fountain,Rhonda Louada Fountain, and Richard Lee Fountain. Jeffery’s legacy also continues through his grandchildren: Sandro Edward Ramirez, Ricky William Ramirez, Casey Jeffery Ramirez, Fabien Gonzales, Amber Collins, Wyatt Fountain, and Addison Fountain. Adding to the joy of his family are his great-grandchildren, Cairo Zare Ramirez and Charles Douglas Ramirez.
Jeffery’s warm spirit, unwavering dedication to his family, and distinguished military service will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. As we celebrate his life, we honor a man who embodied strength, love, and an adventurous spirit. He will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of his loved ones.
