Janet (Jeannette) Evelyn Jeffers, a cherished wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on September 2, 2024, in Show Low, Arizona. Born on July 29, 1946, in Everett, Washington, to Henry and Elma Howe, she attended school in Granite Falls, WA. She soon met Lyle Jeffers and they were married on December 5, 1962.

Jeannette was a loving and devoted family woman. She is survived by her husband, Lyle Jeffers, and her daughters Venus (William) Lawson, Casandra Lanning (John Wilka), and Amber. She will also be remembered fondly by her grandson Connor Lawson, granddaughter Mariah Lawson, and many nieces and nephews. Jeannette was preceded in death by her parents, sister, and four brothers.

Jeannette's passion for nature is well-known, as she enjoyed spending time outdoors tending to her garden, flower beds, fruit trees, and berry bushes. Her dedication to preserving her harvest through canning, preserving, and pressing cider for the winter months was a testament to her nurturing and caring spirit. Jeannette's love for animals and the earth will remain a part of her legacy, she always had some sort of farm animals as well as a dog and cat, her kindness and gentle spirit touched the hearts of all who knew her.
