Jean Arlene Kurtz

January 20, 1935 - May 23, 2025

Jean Arlene Kurtz, 90, of Linden, Arizona, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025. She was born on January 20, 1935, in Hutchinson, Kansas, to Edwin Jacob and Leah K. (Stauffer) Yoder.

Jean was a God-fearing, Christ-loving woman who dedicated her life to faith, family, and kindness. She was a devoted member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Show Low, Arizona, where her deep commitment to her beliefs and her community touched many lives.

Jean had a lifelong love for animals, especially horses and dogs, and found great joy in their companionship. Her gentle spirit and warm heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Todd (Frances) Kurtz; her daughter, Amber (Christopher) Hegarty; her sister, Betty Ann (John) Kreider; her brother, Edwin (Regina) Yoder; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a wide circle of extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Crystal Jean, in 2023.

In keeping with Jean's wishes, no services will be held. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace, resting in the loving arms of her Savior.
