Janice Komp Stone

Janice Komp Stone, devoted wife, dedicated mother, caring grandmother and proud great grandmother, passed away at home at age 77 on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. She was preceded in her death by her son, Richard “Ricky” Edward Stone, Jr. and is survived by her husband of 53 years, Richard E. Stone, and children Eric, Douglas, Ryan, Jeremy and Jayna. Janice was dearly loved by 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was a talented woman who loved serving others, especially her family.

Janice loved reading and was a genealogy enthusiast. She loved her faith and provided a life full of service to others, including temple work and serving a 24-month mission to the people of Andes/Venezuela. Janice enjoyed speaking in Spanish and was a talented pianist who loved music and playing her accordion. 

Viewing takes place Monday, April 18, 2022, from 6pm to 8pm, at the Owens Livingston Mortuary, 84 E 19th St S, Snowflake, AZ 85937. Graveside service takes place Wednesday, April 20 at 10:30 am at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave., El Paso, TX 79906.
