Janet Scott

IN LOVING MEMORY OF JANET (ALTAHA) SCOTT, 62, of Whiteriver, Arizona entered eternal rest on July 7, 2025 in Hondah, Arizona. Janet was born in January of 1963 in Whiteriver, Arizona to her parents Simmons and Elizabeth Altaha (deceased).

She is survived by her husband David Scott; Sons, Darryl Gushoney, David M. Scott and David C. Scott II; daughters, Monica Thorn, Amanda Lang; grandchildren, Tyrell Gushoney and Scarlet Thorn. Her siblings include sisters, DeJean A. Rodriguez and Ruby (Delbert) Altaha and brothers, Joey and Stephen Altaha.

Janet was a member of the Cedar Creek Assembly of God Church, she is remembered as a woman of God with a strong faith in Jesus Christ and the hope of eternal life. She found joy in serving the Lord and sharing her faith with others. She extended love and kindness to her many family, relatives and friends.

She will be deeply missed as she brought happiness with her bubbly personality with laughter and happiness.

Viewing will be held on July 15, 2025,at 8:00 a.m., with funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at the Cedar Creek Assembly of God Church. Burial will take place at the Mourning Dove Cemetery in Cedar Creek, Arizona.
