Fred Willadson

January 20, 1966 — July 16, 2025

Fred Willadson, 59, of Show Low, AZ, passed away unexpectedly at home on July 16, 2025. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and respected leader in the electrical field, Fred will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Fred married the love of his life, Teri, on August 10, 1991, and together they shared 34 wonderful years. He was a proud father to Tanya and Jacob and found endless joy in being "Grandpa" to his three grandchildren: Titus, Melody, and Amaiya. His family was his greatest pride and joy, and he built a life centered around providing for them and showing his love through quiet acts of care and dedication.

Fred earned his Associate's Degree in Electronics Technology from the Phoenix Institute of Technology and built a remarkable career in the electrical field spanning four decades. He worked on over 28 major projects and held key roles at CDK, Saulsbury Industries, and most recently Schmeuser and Associates as Electrical Division Manager. His intelligence, work ethic, and leadership left a lasting mark on every job site he touched.

Fred's impact extended far beyond the work itself. He had a way of bringing out the best in those around him-mentoring younger electricians, leading by example, and setting a standard of integrity and excellence. His influence can be seen in the careers he shaped, the friendships he built, and the deep respect he earned across the industry. To work alongside Fred was to learn from one of the best.

Outside of work, Fred loved life's simple joys. He took great pride in his yard and could often be found riding his tractor or tending to the land around his home. He had a lifelong love of fast cars, enjoyed riding motorcycles, and recently began brewing his own beer. He was happiest tinkering in the garage, relaxing with a cold one after a hard day's work, or sharing a quiet moment with his family.

Fred was known for his quiet, stern demeanor to most, but those closest to him saw his sharp wit, dry humor, and playful joking. He didn't put up with nonsense but had a way of showing affection through teasing and laughter. His intelligence and curiosity were unmatched-if something sparked his interest, he would study it until he became an expert.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Annie and Roy, and his sister Lisa. He is survived by his beloved wife Teri, his children Tanya and Jacob, his grandchildren Titus, Melody, and Amaiya, and many extended family members, colleagues, and friends who were touched by his life and legacy.

Fred's presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His impact lives on in the people he loved, the lives he influenced, and the values he instilled in all who had the honor of knowing him.
