James Parrish

James Lee Parrish passed away August 10, 2024, at his home in Show Low, Arizona. He was born in Elgen, Illinois on September 4, 1941 to Leroy Ernest and Lillian Mae Parrish.

The family moved to Show Low in 1950. James served in the Army National Guard from 1957-1965. He married Linda Louise Ludlow in 1965. They had a daughter, Julee Anne, and a son, Steven Timothy.

James worked for the phone company for almost 30 years. He then worked for White Mountain Passenger Lines for 6 years, until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Linda; daughter, Julee Anne (Jessie) Hanson; son, Steven (Lauren) Parrish; 6 grandsons, Cody, Curtis, Bradley, Seth, Triston, and Dylan; 12 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way.

James was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald; and sister, Arlene.

Services will be held at a later date.
