96 years young, Imogene Brazieal was born in Eager, Arizona to parents, Arlee & Verdie Maxwell. She attended elementary school in Lakeside and Show Low and high school in Snowflake, before attending Arizona State University. She passed away April 28, 2024.

She married Clair Tenney, and they owned Clair & Gene's Café in Show Low, before buying a cattle ranch in Harper, Oregon. They moved back to Show Low after purchasing the Shell Oil distributorship for the White Mountains, eventually also owning "The Hub" situated at the corner of Deuce of Clubs and White Mountain Roads.

Their posterity includes Rita Solomon (Bill, deceased), Gary Tenney (Carla), Arlee Tenney, Randy Tenney, deceased (Debbie), 21 grandchildren, 74 great-grandchildren and countless friends.

After Clair's death she married Clyde Brazieal (deceased) and inherited, with love, his children Scott, Jacque and Lisa.

During her later life Imogene spent winters in Mesa at Apache Wells, Leisure World and Fountain of the Sun, playing golf and bridge, and summers in Show Low doing the same. She also managed the Paint Pony Lodge, Restaurant and Convention Center for several years and served on the Board of Directors of Frontier State Bank (National Bank of Arizona).

Eventually inducted into the Arizona Democratic Hall of Fame, like her father, Imogene was a lifetime rural Democrat and cherished serving as a delegate to the Democratic National Convention in San Francisco.

Because of her attitude and zest, she lived a bountiful and joyful life, filled with love for family, friends, golf, bridge, cookouts, entertaining, and Cadillacs! Her essence has left an indelible image in our hearts and minds until we meet again.
