Geri M. Keaster

Geri M. Keaster, 80, passed away due to natural causes on May 2, 2023, sitting besides her family at home. She was born on January 1, 1943, in Chicago, the daughter of George Martin Goss Jr. and Virginia Gertrude (Mullen) Goss.

Geri went to school at Norwalk High and in the 1970’s she went to Beauty College in Cerritos. She bought her own beauty shop with her best friend Ernie Ballard. They ran the shop together for over 10 years. She married Joe Keaster in 1983, they were married for 34 years, until he passed away in 2017.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Willis Keaster, and Son, Daniel Lee Towery.

Survivors include her first born daughter, Virginia Lee (Towery) Ridge and her daughters, Crystal Lynn  (Ridge) Beauregard and Fiance, Mylisa Lynn (Ridge) Casey and Husband. Her second born daughter Judith Lynn (Kress) WIlliams and her husband and her sons, Joshua Donald Steele and wife, Dakoda David Steele.  She has two sisters, Beverly Goss and Judy Goss, and one brother, George Goss and their families. She had two step daughters, Kristy & Lisa. Her three brothers-in-law, Charles, Marvin and Norman, and sister-in-law, Patsy and their families. She  had seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Geri’s wishes were to not have a service, because she wanted her last impression with each person to be the memory they will forever remember with her.
