George Patrick McKinley

On February 28, 2022, George ‘Pat’ McKinley came home, built a fire, and sat down to read his mail, and was taken home by the angels. He was born in Lansing, MI on November 8, 1943.

Pat attended Culver Military Academy, followed by some college, and then enlisted in the Navy as a Submariner. During this time, he married the love of his life, Gayle McKinley, and they migrated their way west to settle in Lakeside in the early 70’s.

He was preceded in death by Gayle in 2013, after almost 50 years of marriage, and one great-grandchild. He is survived by his two children, Jerry (Melisa) McKinley and Michelle (Gene) Naegle, along with 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren!

A memorial service will be held April 22, 2022 at 12:00 noon at Community Presbyterian Church in Pinetop.
