Gary Horner

Gary Lee Horner, 85 passed away peacefully on January 13, 2024 with family by his side. He was born in Phoenix, AZ to Bill and Sue Horner. In 1966 Gary moved his then young family to Show Low.

He loved the White Mountains where hunting, fishing, camping, cutting wood or any other activity that required being in the forest with friends and family were some of his favorite past times and most loved memories, and of course great stories.

Gary is survived by his daughter Debbie & husband Greg, and daughter Lori & husband Toby; three grandsons, Eric, Kyle, and Ryan; three great grandsons, Shane, Seth, and Tanner; four great granddaughters, Madison, Savanna, Paisley, and Sydnee; and stepchildren, daughter Kelly & husband Kevin; two granddaughters Kenda and Kori; one grandson, Porter; two great granddaughters, Addyson and Kadence; and one great grandson Connor, all of whom he loved dearly.

Gary was a long-time member of the Show Low Elks Lodge #2090 and believed strongly in the merits of this benevolent community and had so many wonderful friends that he cherished throughout the years. His quick wit, jokes, laughter, and loving heart will be forever missed by all who knew him. We will always carry your memory in our hearts!

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Sunday, February 18, 2024 at the Show Low Elks Lodge located at 805 E. Whipple St, Show Low.

If friends desire, a memorial donation may be made in Gary's name to the Show Low Elks Lodge Children's Charity of your choice, which were some of his favorite charities.
