Gail Ann Duhame

April 4, 1940 — June 16, 2021

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die."  -  John 11: 25-26


Gail Ann Duhame, formerly known as Gail George, and known to her beloved students at Blue Ridge Elementary as “Mrs. George” or “Mrs. Duhame”, passed away on June 16, 2021, in Scottsdale, Arizona.


There will be a memorial service, celebrating Gail’s amazing life 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 10, 2021, at the First Baptist Church, 1901 White Mountain Boulevard in Pinetop, Arizona. The family welcomes all who knew and loved her to attend.

Gail is preceded in death by her parents, Merle and Mary Ann (Boss) Hall.
Gail is survived by her sister, Carole Atlee; her children: Gina Doroff (Keith), Julie Garver (Jason), John George (Tiffany); her grandchildren: Marissa Beaudoin (Morgan), Katie George, Daniel George, Torrey Garver and Jarrett Garver.


God blessed this world with the birth of Gail Ann Hall on April 4, 1940, in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Merle and Mary Ann Hall. He took her home to his kingdom on June 16, 2021, at 1:45pm. For 81 years this beautiful woman had an impact on all those lucky enough to know her. From a young age, Gail knew her calling in life was to be service and children oriented. She earned her Master’s degree in early childhood education from Arizona State University and began a long career that spanned over 35 years as an educator of young children. Most of her career was spent teaching the 3rd and 4th grades at Blue Ridge Elementary in Pinetop, Arizona.
