Francis Adams, 38, of Cibecue, Arizona, passed away in Phoenix, Arizona, in June 2026.

Born on July 22, 1987, in Phoenix, Arizona, Francis was raised in Cibecue, Arizona. He attended Cibecue Day School and graduated from Riverside Indian School in Anadarko, Oklahoma.

Francis was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He shared twenty years with his beloved wife, Melissa Walker, and was the proud father of Cameron Adams and Paisley Walker.

Known for his kindness, sense of humor, and warm personality, Francis had a gift for making people feel seen and valued. Many remember him for always taking the time to say hello and acknowledge those around him.

He enjoyed bull riding and especially loved working as a bus driver, where he built meaningful relationships with the children and families he served.

Francis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Calvert and Darlene Tessay; his uncle, Glendale Tessay; his aunts, Karen Way and Linda Tessay; his cousin, Kenneth Dean Quintero; and his father-in-law, Hazzard Walker.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa Walker; his children, Cameron Adams and Paisley Walker; his mother, Henrietta Tessay; his sisters, Lori Adams and Amber Tessay; his nephew, Landen Adams; and numerous relatives and friends.

Francis will be remembered for his kindness, laughter, and love for his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
