Elias Leslie

Elias James Leslie, 19, passed away June 21, 2025 in Lakeside, Arizona. He was born October 31, 2005 in Fort Defiance, Arizona.

Elias was ASC Certified and worked at Jiffy Lube while he attended Northland Pioneer College (NPC). He was working toward obtaining his EMT certification so he could start at one of the local fire stations. He also completed the Fire Science Program at NPC.

From a young age, Elias enjoyed fishing, hunting, and anything outdoors. He loved working with his hands, doing woodworking, working on vehicles, and welding. He enjoyed collecting knives and fishing lures. As his Papa says, "He enjoyed donating lures to the lakes and streams".

Survivors include his mother, Heather Bia; sister, Abigail Dawes; cousin-brother, Vernon Jefferson; maternal grandmother, Sophina Bia; paternal grandparents, Murray and Desdemona Leslie; and his great-grandparents, James and Lenajean Morgan.

Elias was preceded in death by his father, Dominic Leslie.

Funeral Services were held June 26, 2025 at Owens Livingston Mortuary~White Mountain Chapel, in Showlow.

Elias was buried in Lakeside Cemetery.
