Deloy Everett Mendenhall peacefully left us to join his Heavenly Father on November 24th, 2025, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Syracuse, Utah on August 18th, 1940 to Melba M Van Vleet and Everett L Rawlins.
Master Chief Mendenhall, honorably dedicated 22 years of service to the US Navy, retiring with the highly respected enlisted rank, ABCM.
He married his loving wife, Margaret Mendenhall in 1986. Later they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Mesa Temple. They shared 39 loving years together.
Deloy and his wife Margaret blended their families and combined have 8 children, 26 grandkids, and 28 great grandkids whom he loved dearly. He is most remembered by them for wonderful childhood memories and teaching by example.
Deloy was an active and devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he loved doing missionary work and selflessly serving others. He had many callings, including serving in the Bishopric and an 18-month mission to Puerto Rico.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Marci, and grandson, Tyler.
He was truly a wonderful husband, father, Grandpa, and friend.
His wisdom, kindness, and gentle soul will be immensely missed by all who knew him.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Main St. Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 48 N. Main St., Snowflake, Arizona. A viewing will be be held from 11:00-11:45 a.m.
