Crystal McPherson

Crystal McPherson, 31, passed away January 20^th, 2023. Crystal was born on January 2^nd, 1992 in Crystal Falls, Michigan.

Shortly after Crystals birth, the family moved back to Holbrook, where she was raised. Crystal attended Northland Pioneer College, where she earned an Associates degree in Power Plant Maintenance and Operations. In 2015, Crystal enlisted in the United States Navy where she was a Machinist Mate aboard the USS Whidbey Island. While in the Navy, Crystal traveled the world and made many lasting friendships. Upon completing her military service, she moved to Tennessee where she joined Millwright Local Union 1554. She was employed as a Journeyman Millwright, a job she was very proud of. Crystal was always being recognized for her work ethic and eagerness to learn new skills.

She always had a bright, beautiful smile. She laughed easily and loved deeply. Crystal loved telling jokes. She lived her life to the fullest. She was happiest when she was spending time with family and friends.  Crystal helped many people in her life. Her kind heart, bright smile, and infectious laugh will be deeply missed.

Crystal is survived by her mother, Kathy McPherson; sisters, Jamie Ortega (TJ), Elizabeth McPherson; nephews, Cameron Ortega, Dominick Ortega; niece, Joscelyn Ortega; her grandfather, Robert Bidwell; grandmother, Juanita McPherson, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, and her fur babies, Babi Girl, Ash, and Ember.

Crystal was preceded in death by her father, Timothy McPherson; grandfather, Jesse McPherson; grandmother, Mary Bidwell.

A memorial service will be held at the American Legion Post 37 on Saturday February 4^th, 2023, at 11am.
