Craig LaRue Rutherford, 67, of Snowflake, Arizona, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026. Born on August 24, 1958, in Massena, New York, Craig lived a life filled with love, service, and cherished moments.

Craig graduated from St. John's High School and later completed carpentry trade school, honing skills that would serve him well throughout his life.

Craig shared a beautiful life with his wife, Debi. Together they raised four children: daughters Jenifer (Jason) and Jessica (Matt), and sons Craig Jr. (Courtney) and Curtis (Amber). He was also a proud grandfather to Kambry, Jaxon, Madison, Zoey, Halle and Harlow. Craig's siblings Dave (Vanessa) and Allison (Roger) were an important part of his life as well. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Karen, his brother Robby, and his granddaughter Mayzee.

Craig had a deep love for the water and spent countless hours boating on the lake-whether skiing or fishing-creating memories that will be treasured by those who joined him. Sports were another passion of Craig's; he enjoyed playing them in his younger years and later became an enthusiastic fan. Music of many genres brought him joy throughout his life.

Known for his warm personality and ability to connect with anyone he met, Craig made friends wherever he went. His service-oriented nature was evident in the way he always extended a helping hand to those in need. Whether spending time with family and friends or engaging in heartfelt conversations with new acquaintances, Craig left a lasting impression on everyone who crossed his path.

Craig will be deeply missed by all who loved him. His legacy of kindness, love for family, and zest for life will continue to inspire those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing
