Clint Haggard

Clint Howard Haggard

"Uncle Bonehead"

Clint Howard Haggard was born on May 20, 1975, to Johnny Haggard and Debrah Rae

Erb Haggard (Debbie) in Phoenix, Arizona. Clint passed away on November 15, 2023, in

Avondale, Arizona. He was the second child of the family with an older brother, John

Henry, younger brother Chad Everett, sister Katie Beth, and youngest brother Casey Jay

Haggard. Clint was raised in Buckeye, Arizona where he attended Liberty Elementary

School and Buckeye Union High School. He was active on the tennis team and with

Buckeye FFA, where he showed livestock and competed on CDE teams.

Clint learned the meaning of hard work at an early age being raised on the family dairy

farm, where morning chores included feeding baby calves before school. This required

the use of the old chevy truck without power steering. Clint would handle the pedals

and John Henry would handle the steering wheel. Clint was a hard worker, not afraid to

help others. He had several jobs over the years, all of which included hard physical

work. He had a passion for working with horses, something he learned from his dad.

Clint was the family "horse whisperer" and could easily sense why a horse was

struggling. He enjoyed his time working with Phillip Ralls breaking young horses and

attending horse shows. His knowledge and confidence with horses was something we

all admired.

Clint was lovingly referred to as "Uncle Bonehead" by his nieces and nephews. Often

times he brought the smiles, the jokes, the laughter to any gathering, appropriate or

not. He was full of life and love. His bark was bigger than his bite. He showed his love

by picking on you. His smile will be missed.

Clint was preceded in death by his father, Johnny, his brother Casey and his grandparents, Henry & Beth Haggard and Howard & Beverly Erb.

He is survived by his mother, Debbie Haggard; brothers, John Henry (Karen) Haggard; Chad (Celeste) Haggard; his sister Katie Beth (Paul) Hunter; 10 nieces & nephews: Chase, Straton, Caylen, Cade, Mailey, Rigdon, Waylon, Demi, Walker and

Willie. He is also survived by the entire Haggard and Erb families.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, November 25th at 10 am, and a funeral will follow at 11 am. All services will be at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 3775 S. Greenfield Road, Gilbert, AZ 85297.

Internment will be at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, 2300 W. Van Buren Street, Phoenix, AZ.
