Charlie Kelley

May 23, 1968 — March 20, 2023

Charlie Kelley of Vernon, Arizona peacefully passed away at his home on March 20, 2023. He was born on May 23, 1968 in Waco, Texas.

Charlie was a loving and devoted husband and father. He loved being a grandpa to his grandkids and also enjoyed his pet bird. His job allowed him the opportunity to travel to many different areas with his wife, Deanna Kelley. The were married for 27 years and loved to spend time together while working his job as a repo-man. Some of their favorite places to visit were the rim in Payson and the Salt River Canyon among many others.

He enjoyed music and one of his favorite songs was “Highway to Hell” by AC/DC and dedicated Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down” to his wife, Deanna. Charlie was a good man who came across as a rough guy but he truly had a heart of gold and if you really knew him you saw how big it was many times.

He was tremendously loved by his family and friends who loved him with all their hearts. We hope that he is healed and happy and no longer in any pain. He may be gone but he is not forgotten. “Pancakes.”
