Obituary

Cena Marie Cantrell, 80, battled Alzheimer's for several years. She took a fall, broke her hip, and declined rapidly. She peacefully passed away just as the sun was setting on June 10th, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in McNary, AZ February 22nd,1946 and residing in Show Low until her passing. Cena was a die-hard Elvis Presley fan, she had more pictures of Elvis hanging in the walls of her home than her own children and grandchildren. She was a people person and enjoyed her primary job as a waitress. She always enjoyed being able to talk and interact with people from all over when they would come in to the restaurant that she was working. She also loved being out on the road with her beloved husband Deryl of 61 years, on the back of his Harley Davidson or as a passenger in one of their classic cars. They enjoyed going to different motorcycle rallies and car show's in many states.

But most of all she loved her family. She would be the first one to say, "let's go" when family trips were being planned. Many of those trips included Disneyland, Las Vegas, Utah, New Mexico, and camping all around the mountain. You name it, she was up for anything. Her girls, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her whole world. She was at every school event, sporting event, music event, barrel race, drag races, dance recitals, cheer competitions, and anything in between. She always sat in the audience beaming with pride to watch her family.

While she will be truly missed, her stories and memories, laughter and smiles, hugs and kisses will forever be in our hearts. She is survived by her husband, Deryl Cantrell, her 2 daughters: Treva Crull (Clayton) and Marcy Armstrong (David), 12 grandchildren: Hailey (TJ), Cody (Tatum), Hunter (Kyla), Sierra, Clay (Dani), Casey (Hailey), and Kialyn. Her 9 great grandchildren: Romey, Maddie, Gage, Mason, Bonnie, Aiden, Aurora, Kash, and Baby Brauer. She is also survived by her sister, Katie Van Cleave (Clyde), brother Steve Jewell, and sister-in-law Marty Jewell and several niece's and nephew's.

She is preceded in death by her parents David L. Jewell and Geannie Penrod- Jewell and Brother's David and Albert Jewell.
