Barbara McNamara

Barbara Lynn McNamara, a beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully at her home in

Show Low, Arizona on November 22, 2024, at the age of 92.

Born on April 6, 1932, Lynn lived a full and vibrant life. She and her late husband, Dick,

were avid travelers, exploring all 50 states together. Lynn was also a passionate bridge

player, playing just two weeks before her passing. She enjoyed the thrill of casino visits

and the simple pleasure of spending time with her many friends and her beloved cat,

"Spot," a nickname derived from one of her favorite words, "stink pot."

Lynn is survived by her loving children: Randy McNamara of Helena, MT; Bobbi

(Bernard) Robinson of Great Bend, NY; and Beth (Will) Thompson of Tempe, AZ. She

was a cherished grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She is

also survived by her sister, Betsy Hannah of Green Valley, AZ, and her brother,

Theodore Rosenberg of Green Valley, AZ.

Lynn was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Dick; her son, Ricky

McNamara; and her grandson, Brendon Robinson.

A Memorial Service will be held at Our Lady of Snow Catholic Church, 1655 S. Main St.,

Snowflake, AZ on Monday, November 25, 2024, beginning with a Rosary at 11:30 AM. A

private family inurnment will take place at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Mesa,

AZ at a later date.
