Astor M. York Jr., also known as “Mac” to friends & family he held dearest, passed away November 30th, 2022.
Mac lived in San Diego for 51 years & worked in Navy public works for 31 years. He moved to Show Low in 2005, for the dark skies, to follow his passion in astronomy.
He is survived by wife of 49 years, Kathy, and 3 children: Alia, Edric, Kathryn, & niece, Jennifer York; 6 grandchildren & 2 step-grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed.
